In the morning breakfast and then drive to Osian, a desert town, having old Jain and Hindu temples. The carvings are elaborate on the temples and depict tales of the past. Sachiya Mata Temple on top of a hill overlooking the broad deserts is the most renowned. During the evening one can do camel ride in Osian dunes where the sunset makes sand gold. They can organize a folk music and dance performance, which will provide an idea about the Marwad hospitality. Spend the night in Osian or get back to Jodhpur at your own discretion.

You go to Nagaur to-day, to a big fort and cattle fair. Nagaur Fort belongs to the largest ones in Rajasthan and has palaces, mosques and temples within it. Other forts are crowded and you can take your time going through gates and walls, just envisioning battle scenarios and kings. There are also silent markets and salt pans across the town. Post breakfast drive to Barmer, a desert town close to the Indo-Pakistan border. Barmer has handicraft, wood carvings, pottery and embroidery. Women patchwork quilt and men carve wood into beautiful designs. See Kiradu Temples a bit outside Barmer. Beautiful stone carvings can also be found in these ancient temples and they are commonly referred to as the Khajuraho of Rajasthan. Evening free to visit the markets and enjoy the Marwadi food. This has been designated as a desert day outing at the Sam Sand dunes which are approximately 40 km out of Jaisalmer. Breakfast, drive to Sam and get into a desert camp. At this place, you may have camel riding and jeep riding across the dunes. As the sun sets, go and sit on the sand and see how the sky changes colors. In the evening, have a cultural evening with Rajasthani folk dance, music and mouth watering food under the starlight sky. It is one of the magic nights in Marwad. Camp out in the desert.

In the present day you are going to the Aravalli hills where you will visit Kumbhalgarh Fort that is a UNESCO Heritage site. The fort is encircled with a wall that is so long that it is termed as the Great Wall of India.
