On your tour of the Finnish capital, see the red-granite Parliament building, Senate Square, Sibelius Park and Temppeliaukio Church, carved out of a rocky hillside. Your afternoon is free to visit the outdoor marketplace or the National Museum. Transfer to the Viking Line overnight cruise to Stockholm in the afternoon. Buffet dinner at sea.

Buffet breakfast at sea. A sightseeing guide meets you as you dock in Stockholm. On today’s sightseeing tour, pass through the cobbled Gamla Stan (Old Town) which is where the Royal Palace and the Parliament are located. Visit the City Hall, site of the annual Nobel Prize festivities. Then head to the island of Djurgården for a tour of the museum housing the Vasa warship, which sank in Stockholm’s harbor on its maiden voyage in 1628. Transfer to hotel. Balance of day at leisure. Board a local boat and steam up Lake Mälaren to the Royal Palace of Drottningholm. This is the residence of the Royal Family. Take a guided tour here. A coach takes you back to central Stockholm. Balance of day at leisure. Indian dinner included and overnight Stockholm.

Travel through scenic Sweden and cross the border into Norway. Towards the end of the day we arrive at the resort town of Hamar and check into your hotel. Hamar and Lillehammer were the main locations of the 1994 Winter Olympics. Continental dinner in Hamar. Overnight in Hamar.

A day to remember as we drive to Flam. Here, we board the world famous Flam scenic railway for a breathtaking journey. For 50 minutes the view through the carriage window is a constantly changing panorama of sky-high snow covered mountains, thundering waterfalls and green pastures at the bottom of the valley. Stop in Myrdal for and then head back to Flam. Board a short cruise to Gudvangen through scenery you have never seen before. Continue to Bergen today. Indian dinner included. Overnight in Bergen.

You proceed for a sightseeing today of Norway’s most beautiful city with its bustling harbor, flea market for bargain shopping and the colored row houses. Includes a visit to Flojen Mountain by the Funicular for a superb view of Bergen and fjords. Indian dinner included. Overnight in Bergen.

This morning we drive to Oslo via Geilo where the scenery can be compared as the landscape inside the Arctic Circle. You’ll encounter numerous water falls on the way. Continue your drive to the Viking capital of Oslo. It is also the seat of the Nobel Peace Prize committee. Dinner at Indian restaurant included. Overnight in Oslo.

Sightseeing tour of the swank Norwegian capital including the Royal Palace, Karl Johann Avenue, Viking Museum, the Kontiki Museum and the famous Vigeland Sculpture Park where you will have some free time to admire the army of Modern sculptures. Late afternoon, transfer to the pier to board your Scandinavian Seaways’ cruise ship for a memorable overnight cruise to the Danish capital Copenhagen. Scandinavian buffet onboard. Overnight at sea.
