Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Gangtok

NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra - Gangtok (5500 Ft /1677 Mts, 130 Kms / 4 Hrs) On arrival at NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport you will be received by our office executive who will assist you to board your vehicle to Gangtok. Upon arrival proceed to the hotel for checkin; the evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 2 : Gangtok

Excursion to Tshangu Lake and Baba Mandir (12400Ft / 3780 Mts / 43Kms / 3Hrs) After breakfast at hotel you will depart for full day sight seeing of Tshangu Lake and Baba Mandir. Return to Gangtok in the evening, overnight stay at hotel. Tshangu Lake: is one of the most popular destinations for tourists; it is located at 43 km from Gangtok. The lake is about 1km long, oval in shape, 15 metres deep and is considered sacred by the local people. This placid lake remains frozen during the winter months. On the way to the Lake, you will enjoy beautiful scenery and snow capped mountains. The cool water of the Lake is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around. (In case of Land slide or any other reason Tshangu Lake is closed we will provide alternate sightseeing).
Day 3 : Gangtok - Lachen

Gangtok - Lachen (9800 ft/122 kms / 6 hrs) After breakfast at hotel proceed to Lachen. Enroute visit Singhik view point, Seven Sister Water Fall and Naga Water Fall. You will be reaching Lachen towards the evening. Upon arrival proceed to the hotel for check-in. Dinner and overnight stay at Lachen.Lachen: The town is being promoted as a tourist destination by the Sikkimese government. The town commands a panoramic view of the Himalayan Mountains and is abundant in wildlife. The town forms the base to the Chopta Valley and Gurudongmar Lake. An annual yak race, the Thangu is held here in summer

Day 4 : Lachen - Lachung

Lachen Sightseeing-Lachung (45 kms / 2 hrs) Early Morning drive to Chopta Valley (13,200 ft.) .This valley is a famous spot among tourists who love hiking and bird watching & Gurudongmar Lake (17,100 ft.) considered sacred by Hindus and Buddhists. Later drive to Lachung. Dinner and overnight stay at Lachung.

Day 5 : Lachung

Yumthang Valley Excursion After breakfast at hotel drive to Yumthang Valley (11,800 ft.) known as Valley of Flowers. On the way back, visit Hot Spring considered to have medicinal properties. Back to resort for lunch. Overnight stay at Lachung.

Day 6 : Lachung-Gangtok

Lachung - Gangtok (116 kms / 6 hrs) After breakfast at hotel depart for Gangtok, enroute witness the wonderful Bheema and Twin water falls. Upon arrival proceed to the hotel for checkin; the evening is free for leisure. Overnight at Gangtok
Day 7 : Gangtok- Pelling

Gangtok Sightseeing-Pelling (6100 Ft/ 1860 Mts/ 116 Kms/ 5 Hrs) After breakfast at a hotel you will be taken to local sight seeing of Gangtok. This includes Directorate of Handicrafts and Handlooms, Research Institute of Tibetology, Dro-drul Chorten (Stupa, built by thevenerable Trulshi Rimpoche, head of the Nyingma order of Tibetan Buddhism, in 1945), Flower Show.Rumtek Monastery (the seat of the Karmapa Rimpoche, head of the Karmapa sub-sect of the Kargyudpa order of Tibetan Buddhism), View Point and Botanical Garden. Later transfer to Pelling. Over night stay at Pelling.Pelling - located at a distance of 120 kms from Gangtok is another serene, mountain village which lies in the western districts of Sikkim. This village is situated at an altitude of approximately 2000 metres and commands a spectacular view of Mt. Kanchenjunga.

Day 8 : Pelling

Pelling Sightseeing After breakfast at hotel you will be taken for full day sightseeing. This includes Rimbi Water Falls, Rimbi Rock Garden, Kechopalri Lake (The world Khachoedpalri means The Wishing Lake. It is one of the most sacred and holy lakes for the Buddhists), Kanchenjunga Water Falls, Pemayangtse Monastery and Rabdentse Ruins. Overnight stay at Pelling.

Day 9 : Pelling Darjeeling

Pelling-Darjeeling (7380 Ft / 2250 Mts /125 Km/5 Hrs) After breakfast at hotel you will be transferred to Darjeeling. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. The evening is free for leisure. Over night stay at Darjeeling
Day 10 : Darjeeling

Darjeeling Sightseeing Early morning excursion to Tiger Hill (8364 Ft / 2550 Mts) at around 4am for viewing sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (if the weather is favorable), Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast at the hotel you will depart for local sight seeing. This includes sight seeing at Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursday), Ropeway, Tenzing and Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (closed on Sunday), Tea Estate, Natural History Museum (closed on Sundays) and Peace Pagoda. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 11 : Darjeeling - Kalimpong

Darjeeling-Kalimpong Sightseeing. (3937 Ft / 1200 Mts /70 Kms / 03 Hrs) After breakfast at hotel you will depart for Kalimpong. On arrival you will be taken to a full day sightseeing of the town which includes, tour of Forest Museum (closed on Thursday), Deolo Hill, Dr. Grahams Homes School, Durpin Monastery, Mangal Dham and Pine View Nursery (cactus only). Overnight stay in Kalimpong.
Day 12 : Kalimpong - Airport

Kalimpong- NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport (75 Kms / 03 Hrs) After breakfast at hotel transfer to NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey. As you go home let the everlasting memory of the radiant Himalayas and this beautiful serene place linger in your mind and prompt you now and again to revisit this place.
