Arrive at Bagdogra airport or NJP train station and meet our agent for a drive to Darjeeling. Check into a hotel when you arrive. You are free to explore the surrounding area in the evening. Staying in the hotel for the night.

We'll travel early in the morning towards Tiger Hill to see the dawn over Mt. Kanchendzonga. Return to the hotel, stopping by Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop along the way. After breakfast, go to the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, the PNZ Zoological Park (closed on Thursdays), Tenzing Rock, the Tibetan Refugee Centre (closed on Sundays), and the Tea Garden (outer view). Return to the hotel for lunch, then relax for the rest of the day before retiring for the night.

Drive to Gangtok after breakfast, a country of pristine natural beauty with alpine views, lush luxuriant forests, raging rivers, and tranquil lakes. Check into a hotel when you arrive. The rest of the day is yours to explore the surrounding area. Staying in the hotel for the night.

After breakfast, drive 40 kilometres to Tsongmo Lake (12,210 feet) and Baba Mandir, which takes 2.5 hours. This lake lies adjacent to the Nathu La Pass, which is the "Silk Route" entry point into China, and is frozen for the most of the year. The lake is home to Brahminy ducks as well as a variety of migratory species. Nearby is the hallowed Baba Mandir, which is revered for its spiritual significance. We can also go to the Nathu La Pass, which is the Indian-Chinese border. Later, return to Gangtok by car. The evening is yours to do as you want, followed by an overnight stay at the hotel.
