Honored as a national park in 1936, this wildlife destination got its name from Edward James Corbett. He was a British hunter, who later turned into conservationist and contributed in the establishment of Corbett National Park. Presently, Corbett provides a safe and healthy habitat to one of the most beautiful beasts of the woods – the Royal Bengal Tigers. Wildlife enthusiasts pay a visit to Corbett just to get a glimpse of the big cats.

Early in the morning, you will enjoy jeep safari amid the dense woods of the Corbett National Park. Later, return to the hotel for lunch. Post lunch, we will take you to the Garjiya Temple and Corbett Museum (this museum was originally the home of E. James Corbett and has preserved the memories of the hunter turned conservationist). Come back to the resort for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, we will head towards Kausani via Ranikhet. In Ranikhet, we will be paying a visit to Chaubatia, Kalika and Upat. Spend the day in leisure, followed by dinner and overnight stay in a hotel at Kausani. Kausani 117 kilometers from Nainital, Kausani is located at a height of 1890 meters in the Bageshwar district of Uttarakhand. Because of its exceptional natural splendor, Mahatma Gandhi named Kausani as the “Switzerland of India”. Kausani provides an exceptional vista of various Himalayan peaks like Trisul, Nanda Devi and Panchchuli. Moreover, it stands on the top the ridge amidst dense Pine trees overlooking Someshwar valley on one side and Garur and Baijnath Katyuri valley on the other on Almora-Bageshwar-Didihat Highway.

In the morning after breakfast, we will drive towards Auli via Joshimath (255 km; 9 - 10 hrs). Upon arrival proceed to your mountain resort by a rope trolley. Rest of the evening is at leisure for individual activities, followed by overnight at the resort.
