This is one of the beautiful and easy accessible trek in Ladakh with a climb of Stok La (4900m).The pass offer spectacular views of surrounding mountains and Indus valley. Stok trek is a classic trek,starting by crossing bridge and then walking towards the Zinchen Gorge.On the way one might see snow leopard signs along the valley bottom of the side valleys if you are trekking during winter or early spring/fall. Duration : 3days trek. Grade : Easy Best Time: June to October
Driving from Leh town crossing on the other side of Indus river for half an hour and then you penetrate into the gorge narrow road that led to Zingchan where two families residing, right from there your first-day trek starts, the walking of the day is nice along with the Zingchan/Rumbak river, you have multiples of creek crossing with the same river. Camp site is nice.

Day second of the trek is quite challenging and steep to get on the top of pass which is Stok-la/ Namlung-la 4800 meters. When you reached on the top you cannot imagine how beautiful the landscape and the colorful mountains with different shapes, then downhill descending is also steep as its ascending. Campsite is near Stok River.
