Sumatra Orangutan Tour 5 Days Package

Your travel in Sumatra starts at Airport Medan. On your arrival, meet our guide and transfer to restaurant for lunch. After lunch, visiting main sights of Medan. Overnight at your hotel.

Breakfast at hotel and then drive to Bukit Lawang (about 4 - 5 hours) which is a gateway to the Leuser National Park, one of the few places in the world where you can still see orangutans in their natural habitat. The road there is a huge rubber plantation and plantation of palm trees, which is extracted from the fruit of palm oil. Arrive Bukit Lawang and then we will do a halfday walking to the forest. Overnight at lodge.

Trekking to the forest of Gunung Leuser National park. Nearby the park is a wide rubber plantation from where we will begin the trek to the park. Along the trail, we can observe the rich diversity of the flora and fauna life of the park. The trekking trail / trekking direction is depend on the local condition. In mid noon return to the lodge.

After breakfast, today is another half day walking and explore the rain tropical forest with their wild life living in their natural habitat. Lunch is included. In the noon return back to Bukit Lawang, check-out and drive back to Medan. Transfer to Medan Hotel for rest and overnight. Dinner under own expenses.

After breakfast transfer to the airport for catching your flight to your Next Destination.
