Package Tour Detail Attractions: Day 1 - Arrive Dhaka In the year 1608 Dhaka made capital of Bengal, one of the major province of Delhi Government. Dhaka was famous for its finest Muslin cotton in the world, but came to limelight during the Mughal era as the capital of Bengal; the city has remains of Mughal establishments, buildings from the British Kingdome and the legacy of the Kings of Dhaka. Dhaka was build by the river Buriganga during Mughals now called Old Dacca. Dhaka became a mega city now. But still old part of the Dhaka has reach cultural background of 400 years & it is a living museum.
Day 2 - Dhaka Visit Sonarganon & Mainamati After breakfast at hotel drive to Sonargaon the old capital of Bengal (12th century). Visit the ruins of Panam city, Goaldi mosque of 14th century, National Folklore Museum. and then drive to Mainamati to see the ruins of Buddhist monastery, other ruins and site museum dating back from 6th-12th century. Return to your hotel in the evening. Overnight stay in Dhaka.
Day 3 - Dhaka - Bogra via Puthia In the morning drive to Bogra (4 hrs.). On the way we will cross Jamuna Bridge (4.8 km), on the mighty river Jamuna, en-route visit Putia, the Temple city of Bangladesh. A charming little town of Puthia famous for its historic decorated Hindu temples and the imposing Zamindar’s Palace, a fine example of a Hindu Rajbari. These substantial country houses were built by the landowning Hindu elite during the Raj era and with their eclectic mix of architectural styles from Greek to Victorian, reflected the cosmopolitan ideas of their owners. Drive to Bogra for overnight stay at Hotel in Bogra.
Day 4 - Bogra visit Paharpur & Mohastangarh After breakfast drive (2 hrs.) to Paharpur, UNESCO declared world Heritage Site in 1985.Visit to ruins of Paharpur Vihara, is a treasured heritage of the world. The remains of the most important & the largest known monastery south of Himalaya, built between the 7th century and the 3rd part of 8th century & world heritage site & Mohasthangarh is invariably an ancient fortified city acclaimed to be the oldest settlement and the most prominent archaeological site of Bangladesh. The oldest layer dates back to 4th century B.C. The ancient Pundranagara, the capital of Emperor Chandragupta, the founder of Moyura dynasty. Overnight at hotel in Bogra.
Day 5 - Bogra - Dhaka via Tangail After breakfast at hotel drive to Dhaka (4 hrs.). En-route to Kalihati, Tangail (150 km) to visit one of the wonderful village and the people with their long cultural heritage. Here you can see the pottery village, carpentry works, weaving factory and black smith works that are still on the traditional system. You will be impressed with their nature based life style and the landscape with vast crop lands. You may surprise with the taste of local fresh sweets & yogurt. Return to Dhaka for overnight stay at hotel.
Day 6 - Dhaka (own activities) After breakfast free for own activities. Overnight stay at hotel in Dhaka.
Day 7 - Departure Dhaka After breakfast free till 1200 noon. In time transfer to Airport/Bus stand for final departure.
