Package Tour Detail

Alpine Package Tour:
Yumgthang Valley, situated at an altitude of 11,800 ft., is 149 kms. covered with rhododendron shrubs and Silver fir trees and wandering Yaks, in May the entire valley erupts into a riot of colours. The scenic view is breathtaking. A dip into the hot spring here is soothing!

Day Wise Breakup

Day 1 -

Pick up from NJP Rly. Stn./Bagdogra airport and drive to Gangtok. (4 hrs.) Arrive Gangtok./Check in hotel. Evening free. Stay O/N.

Day 2 -

A easy excursion to Tsomgo Lake situated at the Indo-Tibet border at an altitude of 11,400ft. (option to have an experience of Yak ride here). Enjoy the serene beauty of the lake and return back to Gangtok. Stay O/N. (half day).

Day 3 -

Drive to Lachung from Gangtok. Stay O/N at Lachung.

Day 4 -

A short drive from Lachung to Yumgthang valley and drive back to Lachung for Lunch. After Lunch drive visit to Lachung village and stay O/N.

Day 5 -

Early morning drive from Lachung to Lachen. Arrive Lachen. Evening free. Stay O/N.

Day 6 -

Drve from Lachen to Gurudongmar Lake and Chopta valley and return back to Lachen. Stay O/N.

Day 7 -

Drive from Lachen to Gangtok- on the way visit places of sight seeing. Stay O/N.

Day 8 -

Drive from Gangtok to Bagdogra. Drop. (5 hrs). (Tour ends).
