Some of the sites of religious nature are National Memorial Chorten; built in 1974 it was raised in the memory of third King. Next visit one of the oldest monasteries in the valley- Chang Gangkha Monastery. The nature and wildlife lovers should not miss a visit to National Zoo which also houses national animal takin.National Library (collections of holy scripts) & in the evening visit Buddha point. This morning we continue on our drive to Punakha, the road winds up from Simtokha Dzong into the pine forest and through small villages for 20 kilometers and then opens miraculously onto the northern ridge of the mountains. The view over the Himalayan panoply at Dochula Pass at 10,500 feet is one of the most spectacular in all Bhutan. Punakha Overnight stays at the Hotel.

Also known as Gangtey Valley named after the impressive Gangtey Monastery of the Niangua sect in Central Bhutan, where the Graceful Black- necked Cranes in Bhutan (Grus nigricollis) from the Tibetan Plateau visit the valley during the winter season to roost. After Breakfast Morning drive from Thimphu to Paro on the way Sight Seeing to Visit the Ta Dzong, once a fortified lookout tower that is now the National Museum. Then walk down the trail to visit the Rinpung Dzong meaning “fortress of the heap of jewels”. Next visit Kichu Lhakhang, the oldest temple in the country. From there you will be taken to the Drugyal Dzong (Bhutan Victory Fort), which was built in 1646 to commemorate Bhutan’s victory over Tibetan invaders during the 1600s. On a clear day you can see Mount Jumolhari, Bhutan’s second-highest mountain at 7,314meters.Overnight at Paro.

After Breakfast Morning drive from Paro Local Sight Seeing From there you will be taken to the Haa Valley. On a clear day you can see Mount Jumolhari, Bhutan’s second-highest mountain at 7,314meters.Evening is free for leisure. Or Haa Valley Sightseeing & free for leisure. Overnight at HaaValley.

After breakfast, we drive through the densely forested valley, which, together with the bright green of the rice terraces and the brilliant white of the temples, gives the Haa Valley a fresh look and a pleasant atmosphere. The Haa Valley is also home to the Dorji Family, to which the Royal Grandmother Ashi Kezang Wangchuk belongs. The whole day Haa Valley hike includes the Lhakhang Karpo (White Temple) and Lhakhang Nagpo (Black Temple) in the village of Damchen and the central bazaar in Haa Town. After that we transfer you back to Paro.
