Come experience wild life from a boat on the largest river in Tanzania and top it off with birdwatching! You will begin your magical tour by spending time on a boat cruising past the hippos, crocodiles and many aquatic and non aquatic birds. On the second day, the focus will be on spotting a variety of birds. Nyerere National Park has over 350 species of birds. Our professional birding guide will be with you the entire time to help you create lifelong memories.
Transfer And Down To The Rufiji River For A Boat Safari
Our driver will pick you up early in the morning from your hotel/port/airport in Dar Es Salaam. You will proceed with a drive to Nyerere National Park (part of the largest game reserve on the African continent). The drive will take approximately 5 hours. Upon arrival, you will check in at your hotel (outside the park) and have lunch.
At around 4 PM, your guide will take you on a boat safari along the mighty Rufiji River. Weather permitting, you may also stop to experience one of the most beautiful sunsets during your sundowner.
At the end of the boat safari, your guide will take you back to your hotel to relax, have dinner and overnight stay.

It Is A Birdwatching And Transfer To Dar Es Salaam
Today, you will start early in the morning with breakfast followed by a birdwatching escapade. Let our professional birding guide help you spot some unique migratory and non migratory birds.
In the afternoon you will stop for lunch and thereafter proceed with more birdwatching. In the early evening you will begin your transfer trip back to Dar Es Salaam. Depending on traffic, you will arrive back at your Dar Es Salaam hotel/residence etc at around 9/10PM.
