7 Days Bhutan - Rafting Tour

On arrival at Paro international airport our representative will welcome to the land of thunder dragon. Our representative will drive you to Thimphu capital of Bhutan. Overnight at hotel (Thimphu).

Morning visit memorable chorten located in the heart of Thimphu city built in the memory of Third King Druk Gyelpo Jigme Dorji Wangchuk and visit Textile museum. Visit national library which consist of old Paintings and sculpture and little bid ahead visit Changangkha Lhakhang one of the oldest Lhakhang in the country. Afternoon visit Tango the famous Buddhist collage in the country and way back from Tngo visit Cheri monastery and enjoy the green vegetation cover over the Bagana and Kabisa valley. After breakfast travel to Wangdue, Punakha passing by Dochula the first past in the west which offers the clear view of Himalayan ranges and beautiful 108 Druk Wangyel chorten on the top of the past. You will visit Wangdue Dzong. Afternoon travel to Punakha along the crystal river Punatshangchu and visit Punakha Dzong the finest example of Bhutanese architecture and bit uphill you will reach to Khamsum Yully Chorten which offers the entire valley of Punakha. Return to your hotel and be ready for your first day rafting in Pho chhu of Punatshang chhu Overnight at hotel (Punakha).

After the breakfast your exciting rafting tour begins. Following a short drive you will arrive at the end of the river and after the safety briefing, you take to your raft and you will need to do little paddling and then enjoy the views around the river. Your draft along to Punakha Dzong, located on an island in the middle of the two rivers built in the year 1637 and served as religious and administrative centre for the region and the winter residence for the holy monk body of Bhutan. This rafting tour will last almost for 3-4 hours. Overnight at hotel (Punakha).

After the breakfast another exciting rafting starts along the Mochu River. You have to hike up to the Lhakhang Nyezenong and then floating starts down the Mochu pass by the Punakha Dzong and enjoy the green vegetation cover alongside the river. Your tour ends by mid afternoon and then after lunch visit Rinchingang and nearby village and have free interaction with charming villagers. Overnight at hotel (Punakha).
