Ghorepani is a village in Annapurna which used to be a rest place for the ancient traders. They used to feed water to their horses here. Ghore means “horse” and pani means “water” and thus the place named Ghorepani.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival and welcome day in Kathmandu (1300m), hotel transfer and rest
Day 2

Trekking preparation and sightseeing day around the Kathmandu valley, o/n hotel
Day 3

Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara by tourist bus for 6 hour or book flight, hotel transfer
Day 4

Drive to Nayapul for 45 min and trek to Tikhedhunga (1570m) for 5 hour
Day 5

Trek Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (2850m) for 6 hour
Day 6

Early hike to Poon hill for sunrise and trek to Tadapani (2540m) for 6 hour
Day 7

Trek Tadapani to Ghandruk (1950m) for 5 hour
Day 8

Trek Ghandruk to Nayapul and short drive back to Pokhara
Day 9

Drive back to Kathmandu by tourist bus for 6 hour or book flight, hotel transfer
Day 10

Farewell and departure day in Kathmandu
