The city is known for the famous Pauline Monastery of Jasna Góra, which is the home of the Black Madonna painting – Jasna Góra’s most precious treasure. Jasna Góra is the country’s greatest place of pilgrimage. Important attraction are votive objects connected to John Paul II e.g. golden rose given to the Monastery in 1979 or a part of cassock stained with blood with a hole after assassination attempt in 1981.
This tour starts in Lodz. You will be picked up by our English speaking driver from your hotel. You will visit Pauline Monastery of Jasna Góra. Afterwards driver will transfer you for the lunch in one of the restaurants where mostly locals eat. After the tour you will come back to Lodz around 17.00.
