Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival at Delhi

  On arrival at New Delhi Airport or Delhi Railway station, a representative of Footloose Holidays will greet you and escort you up to your pre-booked hotel. Rest of the day is at your leisure. Enjoy the overnight stay at the hotel in Delhi.

• Day 2 : City Tour of Delhi

  Many charming and fascinating destinations await you at old Delhi after sumptuous breakfast at the hotel. The Raj Ghat, Red Fort & Jama Masjid are a few of the important places of historical significance to visit. You may also like to explore Chandni Chowk, a shopper’s paradise and Khari Baoli, Asia’s largest spice market etc. Later on proceed to visit the New Delhi which is no less fascinating and intriguing with the spectacular monuments like The Qutub Minar, tallest stone tower in India, mighty India Gate, a war memorial astride the Rajpath, the Rastrapathi Bhawan, official home of Indian president, Laxmi Narayan Temple, Lotus Temple and, newly built Akshardham temple, all three new and old architectural wonders are of much significance. By evening return to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

• Day 3 : Delhi to Agra (by road) 233 kms/4hrs drive

  Post breakfast, you will drive to Mughal city Agra, situated at the banks of River Yamuna, home to one of the world heritage sites, the Taj Mahal. Check-in to your pre-booked hotel. En route you may also visit Mathura, the birth place of Lord Krishna, God of compassion, tenderness and love and one of the most revered deity of Hindus. Afternoon time will be utilised to visit the Agra Fort, built by the great Emperor Akbar, and the famous Taj Mahal-the symbol of eternal love, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in the loving memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. You may also visit Dayal Bagh, a self sustaining locality, presided over by the 8th revered leader of Radhasoami faith. • Day 4 : Agra to Jaipur (by road) 240 Kms/ 4 hours

  Following appetizing breakfast, your drive to the pink city, Jaipur begins and en route you will visit the Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted red sandstone city built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar. On arrival at Jaipur, check- in to your hotel and rest of the day is at leisure. Enjoy the gastronomic dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 5 : Jaipur City Tour

  Post early breakfast, visit the Amber fort, situated on the outskirts of the city, is known for its large ramparts, series of gates and cobbled paths overlooking Maota Lake. Enjoy your climb on royal and majestic Elephant’s back that makes you feel no less than an emperor entering into the fort premises built in 16th century. Drive past the Hawa Mahal, also known as a Palace of winds. In the afternoon you will visit the City Palace and Museum and also take a walk to adjacent Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory. Rest of the evening is at leisure for you to relax or shop. Enjoy your overnight stay at the hotel in the capital of the desert state.

• Day 6 : Jaipur to Pushkar (by road) 148kms/ 2hrs 45 mins.

  Morning after breakfast, enjoy the drive to the holy city Pushkar. Afternoon time will be utilised in visiting The Man Mahal, a dream palace boasting of Rajasthani Architecture and the world famous Brahama Temple, the only temple in India dedicated to Lord Brahma. The temple is marked by a red spire and over the entrance gateway, is a beautiful statue of a Hansa or swan, the celestial carrier of Lord Brahma. Enjoy a star-lit night at this divine town with overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 7 : Pushkar to Ajmer via Dargah Khwaja Sahib & drive to Udaipur

Pratap Memorial has the bronze statue of the valiant warrior of Rajasthan, Maharana Pratap, who also happened to be the legendary king of Udaipur, Jagdish Temple which was built in 1651 AD and still stands invincible, bewitch the onlookers. Saheliyon Ki Bari, a small ornamental garden is spectacular and stunning. In the evening take a walk through the narrow lanes and back streets of Udaipur up to the Washing Ghats at the lake Pichola. Visit one of the fine downtown restaurants for an optional dinner. Return to hotel for overnight stay.
