Devotes throng the city from all parts of the globe to worship, meditate and above all to bathe. Sarnath, 9 km from Varanasi, is one of Buddhism's major centres in India and a place where the Buddha gave his first Sermon after attaining Nirvana. In Varanasi, see the ancient temples, the river Ganges, the Ghats to savour the ancient city.

In the early morning, see the splendour of the rising sun on the Ganges Boat Ride. See the ghats, rituals of the Hindus, bathing of devotes and monks all around to enjoy the stay there.
