Almost a century ago, the Governors' Camp location was reserved for Kenya's colonial governors accommodation and their royal visitors. Today, it's known as the home of the 'Big Cat Diaries', a first-class destination, setting new standards in luxury and enjoying a magical setting on the Mara River, teeming with hippo and crocodile. Fly directly into the camp's airstrip and spend your stay in the reserve spotting the 'Big Five'. There is amazing detail to service here. Each morning before you set off on your game drive, tea/coffee and biscuits are delivered as your wake up call by a friendly attendant. Of course you could even receive a natural alarm call - the camp is unfenced, so the animals can roam as they please…and do. It is not unusual to see tracks past your tent in the morning! You can enjoy a packed breakfast out in the bush on your early morning game drive or choose to dine privately in the bush or round the camp (local charge). To complete your stay, sundowners can be arranged so that you can sip your favourite tipple and watch the sun set across the plains of the Masai Mara, whilst taking in topi, gazelle and zebra as they graze and settle for the night.Anything else not mentioned in inclusions.
