Pick up from Kilimanjaro international Airport to the Hotel for an overnight at BB.

Activities : Trekking

Begin trekking on the Marangu Route from an elevation of 1800M(5,905 Ft) to Mandara hut 2750M (9,021 ft). Depart from your hotel at 7:30 AM to Marangu gate to obtain your trekking permit. Gate formalities take about an hour. After meeting your porters and Chief Guide, embark on an easy walk through the captivating rainforest to Mandara Hut at 2750 m.

Trek from Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut, covering a distance from Mandara hut 2750M (9,021 ft.) to Horombo 3780 (12,400 ft.). Distance covered: 7km (4.43Miles). Duration: 5 to 6 hours. After breakfast, ascend through rolling alpine meadows and towering Heather trees, enjoying the flora and vistas of Mawenzi and Kibo peaks. A packed lunch will be provided en route to Horombo Hut (3780m). Finally, dinner and overnight stay at Horombo Hut.

Trek from Horombo Hut to Marangu gate. Return to Arusha Hotel for an overnight stay on a bed and breakfast basis.
