Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Jaipur

Following your arrival at Jaipur Airport in the morning, you will be greeted by Footloose Holidays representative who will escort you to the pre-booked hotel. Check in at the hotel and take your time to freshen up and relax for a while and then proceed to explore Pink City, the capital of desert state Rajasthan. Begin your trip from Hawa Mahal, a palace boasting of unique architecture, resembling the honeycomb of a beehive in the form of small windows or Jharokhas, showcasing intricate workmanship. Located close by is the City Palace, the palace still serves as home to the former maharaja which displays rich, sophisticated as well as tasteful lifestyle of the Rajput kings. The architecture has a blend of traditional Rajasthan and Mughal art. Another fascinating ‘not to miss’, destination is Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II who had keen interest in astronomy and wanted to inspire others too. Undoubtedly, this will leave you amazed at the fine architecture of these astronomical instruments built in 1734 which till date stand the test of time. Finally, it is time to return for the gastronomic dinner and a comfortable overnight stay that await you at the hotel.

Day 2 : Jaipur Sightseeing Tour Continues

Enjoy your lavish and relaxed breakfast and proceed for a visit to Amber fort, one of the famous landmarks of Jaipur that make one realise how rich is the history of this desert state. You can enjoy elephant’s ride to climb up the fort and have a view of magnificent palaces inside. While driving down, enjoy clicking a few pictures at Jal Mahal, a palace built in the middle of the lake, adding to the beauty of this city with many stories to tell. Come to the most enjoyable part of this trip when you visit the colourful, vibrant bazaars of Jaipur famous for their bright attires, designer mojris and silver or junk jewellery in the most innovative designs. You can shop till you are satiated as evening time is for leisure only. Come back to the hotel and enjoy your evening meal and overnight stay here.

Day 3 : Jaipur – Ranthambor 150kms/3hrs

Post your hearty breakfast a little early in the morning, it is time to venture wildlife and be driven to Ranthambore, a wild life reserve located near the town of Sawai Madhopur. Upon arrival, you will be assisted by Footloose Holidays representative and be transferred to the wildlife resort where you can enjoy early lunch before you head for a jeep safari to Ranthambore National Park. The visit to the National park promises to be thrilling as it is the abode of many wild animals and birds and it is not uncommon to spot the majestic Bengal tiger in the jungle. Come back in the evening to enjoy the dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4 : Ranthambore – Pushkar 290 km/5 hrs

Next morning, wake up a little earlier than usual to listen to the chirping of the birds and voices from the jungle as this is something you will miss in the city. Following early breakfast, it is time to drive down to Pushkar, a town adorned by a lake and a popular pilgrimage site for the Hindu devotees. This town also boasts of having the only temple of Lord Brahma in the entire world. On arrival at Pushkar, check-in at your pre-booked hotel. After freshening-up, visit Rangji Temple, one of the ancient temples dedicated to Lord Vishnu. It is time to also visit the world famous Brahma Temple & Holy Pushkar Lake where several pilgrims bathe to absolve themselves of all the sins committed by them. The lake also adds to the beauty of the town. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in this pilgrim town.

Day 5 : Pushkar – Bikaner 250km/4.30 hrs

Post your sumptuous breakfast, you will be driven towards Bikaner, the Camel City, surrounded by Thar Desert. After arrival, check in at your pre-booked hotel and freshen yourself up with tea, coffee or buttermilk before you proceed for Bikaner sightseeing tour. This tour covers Junagadh Fort, a unique and magnificent structure, including a museum displaying traditional artefacts from the past giving a true picture of the era gone by. The fort is encircled by a water moat which is believed to have bred crocodiles in the past. Take your time in absorbing the beauty of this breathtaking manmade marvel before you call it a day and return to enjoy your dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6 : Bikaner – Mandawa 190kms/3hrs

Enjoy your morning meal at leisure and then leave for Mandawa, a town located in Shekhawati Region, boasting of many beautiful forts and Havelis, which also served as a trading outpost for caravan routes in the ancient times. Arrive here and check-in at your pre-assigned hotel. Freshen up and brace yourself to witness this open art gallery of Rajasthan which will give you the view of splendid frescoed havelis, Fort Mandawa Castle and other attractions filling your heart with wonder and fascination at each and every object that this small town displays with pride in its rich heritage. By the evening time, return to the hotel and enjoy the goodnight rest after such an exciting and eventful sightseeing trip.

Day 7 : Jaipur Drop

Next morning, have your breakfast at the hotel and it is time to be driven back to Jaipur. Our representative will drop you at Jaipur Airport from where you head towards your homeward journey with a bag full of sweet and happy memories of this incredible trip.
