Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Airport Pickup, Guwahati to Bhalukpong (240km/5hrs)

Upon arrival at Guwahati airport or railway station, our representative will receive you and guide you to a designated vehicle. Board the vehicle, you will be transferred to Bhalukpong (200Km/5hr). After reaching Bhalukpong, check in at hotel Mandal Gang for your overnight stay at Bhalukpong

Day 2 : Bhalukpong to Dirang (100Km/5hrs)

Early morning we will take you to Bhalukpong River. Go bird watching and spot them in their vicinity, with more than 300 species of birds which also shelters rare and endangered "White Winged Wood Duck" , it also homes wide verity of reptiles, fishes and mammals. Post breakfast, for adventure seekers and offbeat travellers go tracking and raft down Jia Borali River (smooth water rafting). After that we will drive uphill to Bomdila, entering Arunachal Pradesh "the land of raising sun". The place greets you with breathtaking valleys, misty rivers and stunning waterfall. In the way to Bomdila we will watch Tippi orchid farm Tippi water falls etc.
After this enjoyable and memorable tour, return to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay at Hotel Snow Lion, Dirang

Day 3 : Dirang to Tawang (200 Km/7hrs)

Post breakfast, explore Dirang small hill station in west Kameng district. Its spectacular landscape and beauteous nature will surely please your eyes and comfort your body and soul. We will visit Kalachakra Gompa also referred as Dirang Monastery and perceive the serene land. Witness kiwi orchids, then to Dirang Dzong (fort) which is about 150 years old and have an excellent view of the surrounding. Later proceed to Tawang, with mountain curve the river Kameng flow along. Witness Sela Pass, world second highest motor able road, with bright coloured flags fluttering all around at an altitude of 13,700ft. Know about Jaswant Garh memorial-cum-mandir. Enjoy spectacular Nuranang Fall (Bong Bong Fall), 100m height. After this pulsating and soul-stirring journey have a warm and comfortable overnight stay in Tawang.

Day 4 : Tawang Sightseeing (70km/6hrs)

Post breakfast have a holly visit to Tawang Monastery (Galden Namgyal Lhatse), Asia's second largest and India's largest Buddhist Monastery which was build about 350 years ago in 17thCentury. Explore age old artefacts related to Tawang Monastery and Mompa people of Tawang. Get a picturesque view of Tawang township in the heart of sky-piercing mountains. Then we move on to The Tawang War Memorial, a beautiful stupa build in memory of the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives in 1962 Sino-Indian war. Take home local carpet woven by local ladies, Mompa traditional mask as a token of memory from Craft Centre Emporium. In the evening enjoy light and sound show. After this return to your hotel for overnight stay in Tawang.

Day 5 : Around Tawang Sightseeing (150km/7hrs)

Post breakfast, start your day with breathtaking view of Shonga-tser Lake (Madhuri Lake), surrounded by snow-capped mountains and the valley offer a spectacular view. Next move on to Bum La Pass about 37km away from Tawang, it is the indo-china border that lies at 15,200 ft above sea level. On your way back stop by heart lake, PTSO lake, Naghula lake, which will surely make your day. After this return to your hotel for comfortable overnight stay in Tawang.

Day 6 : Tawang to Bomdila (185Km/8hrs)

Post breakfast, we will move on to Bomdila. Pay a visit to Bomdila Monastery, which was established in the year of 1965. Explore over 5000 orchid verities including some rarest species of orchid in Tipi Orchidarium. This will be shown to you on the next day, en-route to airport drop. In Bomdila, have a spectacular view from Bomdila View Point, witness impeccable beauty of Bomdila. In the evening enjoy local market. Afterwards retune to your hotel for the overnight stay in Bomdila.

Day 7 : Bomdila to Kaziranga (240km/7hrs)

We take you to Kaziranga National Park, a World Heritage site situated in of Assam. With thousands and thousands of tourist visiting the place every year, this place is famous for the one horned rhinoceros, and a number of species of flora and fauna like Asiatic elephant, royal Bengal tiger (in its natural habitat), leopards, different species of deer and stag, Himalayan bison, migratory birds etc. The other sightseeing places nearby Kaziranga are the orchid gardens, the ethnic village, the beautiful green tea gardens etc. The stay for the night will be at Kaziranga.

Day 8 : Kaziranga to Shillong (280km/7hrs)

After having an elephant safari inside the Kaziranga national park in the morning (an elephant safari is a safari where visitors are shown the places of Kaziranga on the back of an elephant so that they can enjoy the wildlife from very closeness)

Day 9 : Kaziranga to Shillong (280km/7hrs)

We will head towards Shillong after breakfast. It would be a road trip of around 7 hours, filled with stops at different places to enjoy the scenic beauties and the different cuisines of Assam and Meghalaya. After reaching Shillong, we will show you the local places of Shillong. The stay will be at Shillong.

Day 10 : Shillong Sightseeing (80km/8hrs)

Next day, we will go for sightseeing of the whole city. Shillong, popularly known as the Scotland of East is famous for its beautiful weather and picturesque sceneries. The drizzling rains will give you the feeling of Scotland. It has beautiful lakes, mesmerizing waterfalls and breathtaking hill tops. The notable sightseeing places are Wards Lake, Elephant falls, Lady Hydari Park, Don Bosco museum etc. Our stay will be at Shillong.

Day 11 : Shillong & Cherrapunji Sightseeing (170km/9hrs)

Shillong is a beautiful hill station of Northeast. Popularly known as the Scotland of the east, it has a beautiful weather. The places to see in Shillong are Wards Lake, Lady Hydari Park, Elephant falls, and Shillong Peak. We will then go to Cherrapunji - the wettest place on Earth. Also famous for the unending rainfalls, it also has some very wonderful places to see. The Nohkalikai falls, the Seven Sisters falls, Mawsmai caves and some living root bridges are notable among them. Stay at Cherrapunji

Day 12 : Cherrapunji to Mawlynnong & Dawki Sightseeing, Mawlynnong to Cherrapunji (245km/9hrs)

Next morning, we will start towards Mawlynnong the cleanest village in Asia. Mawlynnong also has a living root bridge. After visiting Mawlynnong, we will go to Dawki a border town in India Bangladesh border. Dawki is famous for Umngot River and Dawki Bridge. There is also a facility for boating on the river. After all the sightseeing, we will go to Cherrapunji. We will stay there.

Day 13 : Cherrapunji to Guwahati, Airport Drop (200Km/4hrs)
