Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival in Siliguri & Transfer to Darjeeling

  Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP), you will be greeted by a tour representative.
  
  The scenic drive to Darjeeling takes you through winding roads flanked by beautiful tea gardens and forests. The journey itself is a great introduction to the hills.
  
  After checking into your hotel, you can spend the evening at your leisure. A leisurely stroll along the famous Mall Road is highly recommended for some local shopping and to enjoy the cool climate.

• Day 2 : Sunrise and Darjeeling Local Sightseeing

  Wake up early (around 4:00 AM) to drive to Tiger Hill. The main highlight is to witness a spectacular sunrise over Mount Kanchenjunga, the third-highest peak in the world. On a clear day, you can even catch a glimpse of Mount Everest.
  
  On your way back, you will visit the ancient Ghoom Monastery and the Batasia Loop, a spiral railway track with a war memorial offering a panoramic view of the town.
  
  After breakfast, you'll proceed for a half-day city tour covering major attractions like:
  
  Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI): A tribute to Tenzing Norgay and other mountaineers.
  
  Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park: Home to the Red Panda and Snow Leopard.
  
  Tenzing Rock: A massive rock for rock climbing training.
  
  Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre (closed on Sunday): A center for handicrafts and local crafts.
  
  Japanese Temple & Peace Pagoda: A beautiful and serene spot for meditation, offering a panoramic view of the town.

  After breakfast, you will take a scenic day trip to Mirik, a charming town known for its beautiful lake.

  At Mirik Lake, you can enjoy boating or a pony ride and soak in the peaceful surroundings.
  
  On your way back, you can stop at the Pashupati Market, located on the Indo-Nepal border, for some souvenir shopping.
  
  Return to Darjeeling in the evening.

  After a final breakfast, check out from your hotel.
