Varanasi is one of the important city in Uttar Pradesh. It is also known as Benaraes or Banaras or Kashi. It is 320 KM from state capital Lucknow and 125 K from Allahabad. Varanasi is the oldest city in the world. Spiritual capital of India. Varanasi is all over world famous for its muslin and slik fabrics, perfumes, ivory work and sculpture. It is believe that in year 328 Buddha have founded Buddhism. When he has given the 1st sermon “The Setting in Motion of the wheel of Dharma” at Sarnath 20 KM from Varanasi. The city becomes more important when in 8th centaury Adi Shankara established the worship of Shiva as an official sect of Varanasi. Great poet and social reformer Kabir, ravidas and Gur nanak Dev visited the city in 1507.Muslim king the Great Akbar constructed two great temples dedicated to lord Shiva and Vishnu. Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

New Delhi - Varanasi vide Train Magadh Express, Dep. at 2000

On time reach at railway station to board the train for Varanasi. (We can provide transfer on Optional cost from your hotel / Residency to railway station). Later board the Magadh Express to Varanasi (Mughalsarai).
Overnight on Train in First Class Air-conditioned Class.

Day 2

Arrival Varanasi Mughalsarai at 0717 Hours

Upon arrival at railway station assistance on arrival and transfer to the hotel pre booked.
Mughalsarai is 12 Kilometers away from Varanasi and most of the super fast trains stop at Mughalsarai not at Varanasi. Varanasi is one of the oldest living cities in the world, contemporary of Thebes and Babylon. It is also one of the holiest Hindu cities and still thriving on its religious past. Morning we do a tour of Varanasi visiting the Durga Temple, Tulsi Manas Temple & Benares Hindu University. Afternoon excursion to Sarnath, a place where Buddha preached his first lessons on Nirvana. Here we also visit the local museum with its interesting collection of Buddhist artifacts.
Overnight at any good Hotel .

Day 3

Varanasi - Delhi

Early morning at dawn we have a boat ride on the holy river Ganges to see the devout praying and bathing on the Ghats (Banks), with funeral pyres burning in the distance. Afternoon transfer to airport / railway station to board the flight for Delhi. Assistance on arrival in Delhi and transfer to your residence.
