Gariep Dam Nature Reserve, Free State Overview

The Gariep Dam Nature Reserve of Free State, South Africa, covers a dam of 36,478 hectares and a game sanctuary of 11,237 hectares on its north shore. The Gariep Dam Nature Reserve is built on the Orange River and feeds some 200,000 hectares of agricultural lands.
