City Park Bokaro

City Park Bokaro is one of the beautiful tourist attractions in Bokaro city (Jharkhand, India). The sprawling park lies in the Sector 3 of Bokaro Steel City and the park houses one vast artificial lake as well as three small-size artificial lakes. City Park is a prime picnic destination for the locals, who throng the site on the weekends to enjoy the park view with some foods as well as recreational activities.

It Is Famous For:-
1) The City Park is famous as a picnic spot among the locals and tourists, where people love to feast in groups.
2) Basant Mela, which is held once every year during the month of February in the City Park, is quite popular among the tourists as the fair provides an opportunity to experience the culture of the locality.
3) Every year Chhatth Puja (a festival immensely celebrated in some parts of Northern India) is also organized in the park compound during the months of October/November.

Best Time To Visit:-
One shall mark his arrival during the period from October to March, in which not only the weather feels pleasant and one gets the bonus of attending two annual events that are Chhatth Puja and Basant Mela held in the park.
