Russi Modi Center for Excellence

Dedicated to the well-known Rustomji Homusji Mody, popularly known as Russi Mody, Russi Modi Center for Excellence is a popular tourist attraction in Jamshedpur. It is a museum that is a home to the memories of the events related to the growth of India’s first steel plant established by the Tata Group. Hundreds of tourists from different parts of Jharkhand and nearby states visit Russi Modi Center for Excellence on a huge scale.

Why Is It Famous?
1) It houses the entire history of the development of Tatanagar and the first steel plant of India
2) The photographs related to the construction and inauguration of the steel plant can be seen in this center. Furthermore, the documents in the original hand-writing of Rustomji Mody are framed and displayed in this center
3) One can also find the information related to the Tata Group and its achievements till dates. Some rare photographs of the Tata family can be seen as well

Russi Mody Center for Excellence welcomes the tourists throughout the year. Every day people from nearby and far off places visit this center & gather knowledge about Tata Group and its achievements. However, this center remains closed on all national holidays, Parsi New Year, and some other holidays.
