Travel Distance & Time from Arusha to Karatu: 120km/2hr
You will take a morning flight from Zanzibar to Arusha. Upon arrival at Arusha Airport, our safari representative will warmly welcome you and provide a detailed briefing about your upcoming adventure. From here, your journey begins as you head to Tarangire National Park, a hidden gem often referred to as the “home of elephants.” This beautiful park is renowned for its ancient baobab trees, sweeping savannah landscapes, and the Tarangire River, which attracts large concentrations of wildlife, especially during the dry season. On your full-day game drive, you will encounter vast herds of elephants alongside lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and an impressive diversity of over 500 bird species, making the park a paradise for nature and wildlife enthusiasts. The experience offers an authentic taste of the African wilderness, with fewer crowds compared to other parks.
As the sun sets, you will drive towards the charming town of Karatu, where you will check in at your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, resting in comfort as you prepare for the next day’s adventure.

After breakfast, you will continue towards Serengeti National Park one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. Passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will be able to see the breath-taking Ngorongoro Crater view.
The Serengeti is famous for its abundance of wildlife, long stretches of rolling grasslands, breathtaking rivers, and budding ecosystem. The seemingly endless grassy plains are host to the famous Great Migration - the largest mass movement of hooved animals on the planet. More than 2 million wildebeest, hundreds thousands of zebras and all kinds of antelopes annually migrate in an endless search for food and water. As for Big Cats and large predators, it's the place of choice to look out for lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, with many television scenes like the famous river crossings having been filmed in this park. The entire 2 days are set aside to savor the beauty of the Serengeti.

After breakfast you will head out for an en route game drive through the Serengeti. You might be able to spot the “Big Five” – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard – before embarking on your journey to Ngorongoro Crater. This UNESCO world heritage site, formed millions of years ago, is 600 m deep and covers roughly around 260 square kilometres. A rich grassy pasture covers the crater floor and provides favorable conditions for grazing animals such as lions, zebras, gazelles, buffalo and warthogs, to name a few. This natural enclosure provides a safe haven for some of Tanzania's endangered black rhinos.
After lunch and a full afternoon inside the Crater, you will head to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, you will embark on a scenic drive to Lake Manyara National Park, one of Tanzania’s most captivating wildlife destinations. This park is famed for its breathtaking landscapes, from dense acacia and mahogany forests to the vast alkaline lake that attracts thousands of flamingos, creating a stunning pink shoreline. On your game drive, you may encounter tree-climbing lions lounging in the branches, herds of elephants roaming the plains, graceful giraffes, hippos wallowing in the water, and a spectacular variety of birds—making every moment a perfect photo opportunity. The park’s compact size allows for an intimate and unforgettable safari experience.
