7 Days Safari in Northern Tanzania

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, after completing check in formalities you will be met by your driver guide who will provide details of your trip and assist with loading your luggage into the vehicle. You will then depart for Arusha and transfer to your lodge at Point Zone Resort. Meals included: breakfast and dinner.

After breakfast your driver guide will meet you and take you in a 4x4 vehicle for a wildlife viewing excursion in Tarangire National Park. The journey takes approximately two hours. You will begin your morning exploring the reserve where you will admire landscapes, baobab trees and surrounding wildlife including families of elephants, big cats, zebras and giraffes. Lunch will be served in the picnic area. At the end of the day you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Fanaka Safari Lodge. Meals included: breakfast, packed lunch, dinner and drinking water.

After breakfast you will be picked up from your lodge and continue an off the beaten path journey to Lake Natron following the Rift Valley escarpment northward. The route passes through typical Maasai lands and offers views of Oldoinyo Lengai, the sacred Maasai mountain, before reaching the small Maasai village of Ngare Sero. Enjoy a guided bush walk to Lake Natron where shores shimmer with pink hues when flamingos breed. You can choose to walk to a nearby waterfall for a refreshing swim. Dinner and overnight at Maasai Giraffe Eco Lodge. The package includes breakfast, a picnic lunch, dinner and drinking water.

Wake early and admire the sunrise over the savannah. After breakfast depart from the Northern Serengeti for a scenic game drive towards the Central Serengeti offering excellent wildlife viewing opportunities across diverse habitats and migratory corridors. You may spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes and large herds of plains animals. Arrive in the Seronera area in the afternoon and continue your game drive before returning to your camp or lodge. Lunch will be served in the picnic area. Dinner and overnight at Glimpse of Africa Tented Camp. Meals included: breakfast, picnic lunch, drinking water and dinner.

Spend a full day in the Central Serengeti rising early to maximize wildlife viewing. Guides will choose the best viewing spots depending on the season. Activities may include lingering near the hippo pool to observe hippos and crocodiles, observing large prides of lions or witnessing the migration. Continue game drives throughout the day. Dinner and overnight at Glimpse of Africa Tented Camp. Meal plan includes breakfast, a picnic lunch, drinking water and dinner.

Early in the morning after breakfast depart for Ngorongoro Crater. Descend into the crater to observe animals active within this natural wonder including the rare black rhinoceros and many other species such as wildebeest, zebra, African buffalo, eland, warthog, hippopotamus and African elephant, as well as big cats like lions, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals and sometimes leopards. Lunch will be served in the picnic area. In the late afternoon return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Fanaka Safari Lodge. Meals included: breakfast, a picnic lunch, drinking water and dinner.

After breakfast at the lodge depart for Lake Manyara National Park with a picnic lunch. Lake Manyara is a spectacular reserve attracting lions, elephants and hippos and at times thousands of flamingos and many other birds. You will have the opportunity to admire the park from the water, explore its shores and observe its rich flora and fauna including hundreds of birds, flamingos, giraffes, elephants and buffalo. In the late afternoon leave the park and return to Arusha where a transfer will take you to the airport for your flight. Meal plan includes breakfast and a picnic lunch.
