Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : NJP/IXB to Gangtok

  Once you arrive at Bagdogra airport (IXB) or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station, you will be welcomed by our representative, with whom you will embark on the road trip to Gangtok, which is the capital of the state of Sikkim. Blessed with greenery and Himalayan peaks, Gangtok is the home to many ancient and significant monasteries. The drive is about 4 hrs depending on the road conditions passing through some very scenic roads along the river Teesta. If you happen to arrive early in the day, a stroll along MG Marg in the evening is a recommended activity. Mark an end to the first day of your tour with a peaceful sleep.

• Day 2 : Tsomgo Lake & New Baba Mandir

  Treat yourself with a delightful breakfast and gear up yourself to visit the finest and unbeatable nature beauty i.e. Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir nearly 40 kilometers. The Lake is oval shaped lake nearly 50 feet deep, surrounded by snow capped mountains from every side and green carpet of alpine forest, this place will leave you in awe. Next, seek blessings from Baba Mandir, a majestic temple that honors Baba Harbhajan Singh. These destinations not only are the geographical treasures but have a serene ambiance with political and historical significance. You can even drive to NathuLa Pass to Republic of China and explore its beauty.
  
  *Important*; You can visit Nathula Pass on the same day at an additional cost. Return to the hotel and call off your charming Tsomgo Lake excursion with a sound sleep.

• Day 3 : Gangtok to Lachung

  Start early as you have a whole day to explore exciting and breath-taking places to visit. Lachung is a village surrounded by snow-capped peaks and beautiful alpine meadows. The region is fully covered with Rhododendron forest with Chopta Valley and Thangu being the other places of interest. On the way enjoy the beauty of few wonderful locations like Tashi Viewpoint, Butterfly Water fall, Naga Waterfalls, Amitabh Bachan Waterfall. By the time you reach this offbeat place, it is almost evening and you can self explore its nearby places. Overnight stay at Lachung.

• Day 4 : Yumthung Valley & Transfer to Gangtok

  Enjoy a fresh spread of breakfast and proceed for an excursion to Yumthang Valley – the ‘Valley of Flowers’ is nothing short of a fairytale experience. Located at a height of 11,800 ft above sea level and home to the Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary, which has over twenty- four species of the Rhododendron. At the end of the tree line, the valley erupts in a large multi coloured blanket of flowers of Primula, Rhododendron, other alpine flowers. Rejoice this Sikkim valley of flowers sanctuary with lakes, mighty yaks, grazing pasture on rolling meadows & hot springs known for its therapeutic value and healing properties. This is nothing less than a natural wonder on earth. Return to your hotel in Gangtok and have a good sleep after such a long refreshing day. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

• Day 5 : Gangtok Local Sightseeing

  Kickstart your day by early morning breakfast and go for a sightseeing tour. Sightseeing will be full day hence the drive will be easy and comfortable. Relish some soulful time in Research Institute of Tibetology & Gunjang Monastery. Next head towards Tashi Viewpoint for capturing far- reaching views of Mt. Kanchenjunga. Go for an excursion to Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom, Flower Show. Enjoy a cable car on the Ropeway and catch the bird’s eye view of the surroundings. Other attractions that will be covered are Bakthang Waterfalls, Banjhakri Falls, one of the finest falls close to Gangtok, Hanuman Tok & Ganesh Tok- a temple situated atop the hill. After such an eventful day, drive back to the hotel and spend the evening at your leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

• Day 6 : Gangtok to Pelling

  After a healthy breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Pelling, a small town located in the Southern part of Sikkim, a beautiful hill station adorned with some of the most beautiful monastery, lakes & valleys. The journey to Pelling is pleasing as you will drive past the gorgeous tea gardens, majestic mountains, and scenic landscape. After checking into the hotel and freshening up, take rest and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Pelling.

• Day 7 : Pelling Halfday Sightseeing and Darjeeling Transfer

  Indulge in an immersive half city tour of Pelling. The routes are forested and the botanical and zoological richness is inspiring. Sightseeing attractions includes Bird Sanctuary, Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdentse ruins- the scenic view from the top of the ruin to the mystic heights of Kanchenjunga Ranges is something to be cherished. Pelling has been newly added with Skywalk a very thrilling and adventurous walk over the mountain range. Next, set off for Darjeeling, a favoured tourist destination, noted for its scenic beauty, amidst rolling tea gardens, ancient forests and the mountain paronama that it provides. After checking into the hotel and freshening up, a stroll along Chowrastha also known as Mall Road is suggested, relax and enjoy the ambience and watch the hustling bustling of the people. • Day 8 : Darjeeling Local Sightseeing

  Imagine waking up to a breathtaking view of the sunrise and the magnificent Kanchenjunga mountain range. Witness the incredible experience of the famous Tiger Hill at 4:00 AM in the morning. Other attractions which will be covererd are Ghoom Monastery & Batasia Loop. After this go back to hotel for breakfast and next drive to visit the rest of the sightseeing points which are Tenzing Rock, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Ropeway, Tibetans Refugee center, Tea garden, Japanese Peace Pagoda. The itinerary is planned in such a way that you won’t miss out any places. Evening free for Shopping & individual activity, take a walk around town to appreciate the new culture you are in. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

• Day 9 : Darjeeling to NJP/IXB

  Your thrilling Sikkim & Darjeeling trip comes to an end. Have a filling breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed for Bagdogra airport (IXB) or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) for return journey and bring your Himalayan Odyssey to a close. • Choice of Vehicle:
• We provide vehicles as Budget or Standard Family or Luxury Family. We can not guarantee you of a particular vehicle as Wagon R in Budget or Bolero in Standard Family or Innova in Luxury Family, although if you are comfortable or obsessed with any particular vehicle, let us know from the beginning and we will try our best to provide you the same.
• Vehicle Allotment System:
• The vehicle used for your entire tour will be strictly on Point to Point Basis. In any circumstances vehicle will not be provided on Disposal Basis. Vehicle will be changed almost everyday. We will SMS you driver and vehicle details two hours prior to your pick up time.
• AC and It's Uses:
• In plains such as Siliguri or while vehicle is plying down-hill from any hilly area to Siliguri, AC will be used as per customers instruction, but while going up hill or plying in hilly area AC will strictly be used as per drivers instruction.
• Timing:
• For any sightseeing it may be half day or full day or any excursion to any place, time mentioned in proposal is from vehicle reporting time.
• In Half day/Full day Sightseeing we always mention maximum points can be covered /visited in that period. It is up to you how many points you can cover in that time.
• Tsomgo Lake/ Nathula vehicle reporting time in normal/off season is 7.30 am to 8.30 am & as there is huge rush in peak season, getting a permit for the same may take some extra time so in peak season vehicle reporting time will be 9 am to 10.30 am.
• Tiger Hill vehicle reporting time is 3.30 am to 4 am & if anyone starts after 4.30 am we will not be held responsible for missing the sunrise, and also if for any other reason Sunrise is missed, we will not be held responsible.
• Change of Day:
• If any Sightseeing places are closed due to any reason or can not visit any sightseeing place for any reason whatsoever on the scheduled day, it cannot be covered next day in any circumstances. Change of Route:
• In the event of change of route for any reason such as Landslide, Strike, Political problems etc. at the time of transfer from one place to another, guest has to pay for the change of route directly to the driver in cash.
• Alteration of itinerary:
• If at any point of time, you need any alteration in your itinerary, you are requested to contact your concerned tour manager/ customer care executive for the changes and it's charges if any. You are requested not to make any changes in your itinerary without your concerned tour manager/ customer care executives knowledge.
• Nathula Pass & it's Permit:
• Nathula Pass can be visited along with Tsongo Lake and New Baba Mandir Excursion with permit from Tourism and Civil Aviation Department in Gangtok.
• As per the itinerary (standard package by drivers union) we will take you to New Baba Mandir, if anyone wants to visit Old Baba Mandir situated at Silk Route, has to pay extra to driver directly.
• Nathula Pass is closed on Monday and Tuesday for Indian Nationals, Foreign Nationals are not allowed on any day.
• 2 passport photos and photo address ID proof of each member is required for the permit.
• Permit for Nathula costs Rs.4000/- per vehicle (Type of vehicle or number of Pax does not matter)
• If you are a group of less than 6 people then in peak season you may get a clubbed Nathula permit but at the same price. Now let me clear what is clubbed Nathula permit in peak season Sikkim tourism department wants to send maximum tourist to Nathula Pass so to ensure that they issue clubbed Nathula permit in this system you can visit Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir in your exclusive vehicle but from Nathula gate you have to go with some other passengers some times in your vehicle/any others vehicle.
• Zero Point:
• Zero Point can be visited along with Yumthang Valley on paying Rs.4000/- per vehicle (Type of vehicle or number of Pax does not matter)
• Extra Payable:
• All entrance fees at various Sightseeing places has to pay by the guest.
• Others:
• All Valuables and personal belongings are the responsibility of the client. In case of theft or lost of clients
