Spend 07 Days/06 Nights in Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti National Reserve, Lake manyara National Park and Tarangire National Park.

This safari will begin Ngorongoro National reserve. The Ngorongoro Crater is a world heritage site, the world's largest intact volcanic caldera and is commonly referred to as the 8th wonder of the world. Then proceed to Serengeti National Park, Tanzania's oldest and most popular national park, also a world heritage site and recently proclaimed a 7th world wide wonder. The Serengeti is famed for its annual migration, when some six million hooves pound the open plains, as more than 200,000 zebra and 300,000 Thomson's gazelle join the wildebeest's trek for fresh grazing.

Lake Manyara National Park strectches for 50km along the base of the rusty-gold 600-metre high Rift Valley escarpment. It is a scenic gem, with a setting extolled by Ernest Hemingway as "the loveliest I had seen in Africa". And ends with Tarangire National Park characterised by Day after day of cloudless skies. The fierce sun sucks the moisture from the landscape, baking the earth a dusty red, the withered grass as brittle as straw. The Tarangire River has shrivelled to a shadow of its wet season self. Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 Ngorongoro Crater

Met at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by our representative, briefed and drive to Arusha via Namanga border. Proceed to Arusha in time for lunch at Impala Hotel. After lunch depart for Ngorongoro Crater arriving in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge.

Day 2 Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast at the lodge proceed on a half-day crater tour with picnic lunch. In the crater, which is considered the "Eighth wonder of the world" you can see a spectacular concentration of wildlife including the big five. The crater has a variety of habitats including grassland, forest and swamp. The lake on the crater floor, is home to flamingos and many other species of birds. Return to Ngorongoro Serena Lodge in the early evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 Serengeti National Park

After breakfast depart for Serengeti National Park arriving in time for lunch at the Serengeti Serena Lodge. In the afternoon proceed on a game drive to explore this world famous park. This park is famous for large concentration of plains game such as zebra, wildbeeste and gazelle. Return from the game drive in the early evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 4 Serengeti National Park

After breakfast proceed on a morning game drive returning to the lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon, another game drive can be taken to explore this world famous park. Return to Serengeti Serena Lodge in the early evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast depart for Ngorongoro Crater, via Olduvai Gorge, site of archaeological findings, where traces of pre-historic people dating back to 3.5 million years have been discovered. Lunch is at a lodge at the crater. In the afternoon proceed to Lake Manyara arriving in the early evening at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge / Similar for dinner and overnight.

Day 6 Tarangire National Park

Early morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. Manyara is a Maasai word for a plant used by local people in making living stockades for their livestock. Lake Manyara National Park is situated spectacularly between the Great Rift Valley Escarpment and Lake Manyara. The most famous spectacle is the tree-climbing lions, which are occasionally seen along branches of Acacia trees. Breakfast and then depart for Tarangire National Park, arriving at Tarangire Sopa Lodge in time for lunch. At 1600 hrs enjoy a game drive in the Park. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 7 Departure

Depart Tarangire after breakfast and drive to Arusha to collect picnic lunch boxes later proceed to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport Nairobi for your KQ flight back home.
