Arrive in New Delhi, the bustling capital of India and transfer to our comfortable hotel in the city. Delhi is slowly becoming the largest city in India rapidly catching up to Mumbai (Bombay) and Kolkata (Calcutta).
In addition, Delhi has long since eclipsed them in political importance. In some areas it remains a spacious garden city, tree-lined with beautiful parks, but it can also be crowded and raucous. Turbaned Sikhs, colorfully dressed Rajasthani and Gujarati women working as manual laborers on building sites and the shopkeepers along Janpath Road all add to the cosmopolitan feel of the city. The rest of the day is free to relax or to explore. Overnight in New Delhi.

We spend the day in Delhi, exploring some of the sights in both the "Old" and the "New" cities. In Old Delhi, we visit the Jama Masjid - India's largest Mosque; and also enjoy a rickshaw ride through Chandi Chowk, Delhi's famous "Silver Street".

In New Delhi, we see the Qutab Minar, Gandhi's tomb; see India Gate - the "Arc de Triomphe" that leads to the Indian Parliament, which we will drive through. Overnight in Delhi.

Early Breakfast transfer to Railway Station and journey to Amritsar and upon arrival in amritsar transfer to Hotel. Night ceramoney at Golden Temple. Overnight at Hotel.

After Breakfast local sightseeing in Amritsar. Wagha Border, Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh, Durgiana Temple, Lal Mata Mandir. Overnight at Hotel.

Early Breakfast start to Katra by Car and upon arrival check in hotel and after fresh up trek to Vaishno Devi.

After Breakfast travel for Shiv Khori and returns back to Katra and relax in Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

After Breakfast start journey to Patnitop and after arrival Check in Hotel and Local sightseeing in Patnitop. Overnight at Hotel

After Breakfast start journey to Srinagar. Meet upon arrival and transfer to House Boat.
Evening Shikara ride on Dal Lake visiting floating and Vegetable gardens etc. Also witness walnut woodcarving and papier machie making demonstration. Overnight at Houseboat

After Breakfast sightseeing of Mughal Gardens visiting Nishat Bagh (Abode of pleasure) built by Asif Khan brother in law of Jehangir in 1632 AD. And Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love) built by Jehangir for his wife Empress Noor Jehan. All the gardens are situated on the bank of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountains in the background. The distance from Srinagar to the said gardens is about 12 and 15 kms respectively. Enroute visit carpet-weaving factory.

Full day excursion to Sonamarg by cars. The distance of about 83 kms will be covered about 2-½ hrs. Sonamarg lies in Sindh Valley streamed with flowers and surrounded by mountains. Sonamarg is also the base for some interesting treks to the high altitude of Himalayan Lake.
Evening return back to Srinagar.

Drive to Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers) 2730 Mts. above sea level. The distance of 60 kms will be covered in about 2 hrs. Gulmarg has one of the best Ski slopes in the world and highest golf course of the world with 18 holes. One can also have the view of Nanga Parbhat if weather permits. The view enroute from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. One can also have a short trek upto Khilangmarg which can be covered in about 3 to 4 hrs. Chair Lifts for mountain ride are also available.

After breakfast couple of hours at leisure and later drive to Pahalgam (Valley of Shepherds) via Srinagar. Drive through Saffron fields, visit Awantipura ruins (1100 years old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awantiwareman). Drive through the pine forest and along Lidder River. The total distance of about 145 kms will be covered in about 3.30 hrs.
