Day 1 : Guest Pick Up/ Drive to Ranikhet
Guest picked up and we proceed towards Ranikhet. Upon arrival we take a hotel, after refreshment we begin sightseeing. We offer prayers at famous The Jhoola Devi Temple.
Jhoola Devi Temple: A great temple of Goddess Durga. It is believed that the temple has the powers to fulfil the wishes of devotees. The temple houses a bunch of holy bells tied. These are known for granting wishes on being ringed. The temple opens daily from 6 am to 7 pm. Night rest.
Day 2 : Ranikhet Sightseeing
We begin sightseeing and see Majkhali, Bhalu Dam, Haidakhan Babaji Temple and sunset points.
Majkhali: This mesmerizing spot offers stunning views of Mount Trishul. It takes you away from the city noise to peaceful environs. The site opens daily from 7 am to 7 pm.
Bhalu Dam: It is undoubtedly one of the best places to see in Ranikhet. It is a small artificial lake which offers natural beauty, panoramic views of the Himalayan range, soothing and scenic surroundings. The site opens daily from 7 am to 7 pm.
Haidakhan Babaji Temple: This is an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva built by Shri Haidakhan Maharaj. It is believed that he was the avatar of Lord Shiva. One can get an amazing view of the Himalayan peaks including Nanda Devi and Trishul Parvat from here. It opens daily from 6 am to 7 pm.
Sunset points: There are some very exhilarating sunset points in Ranikhet that are considered one of the most beautiful places to explore. One of the best places to see a lovely sunset is Machkhali which is located near woodvilla point flanked by Transit Camp and Ganiadeoli. Night rest.
Day 3 : Sightseeing/ Back Trip
We see Tarikhet village and Chaubatia.
Tarikhet Village: This great spot has a place in the history of India’s freedom struggle. Mahatma Gandhi rested here for a long time. This place is also popular for its small sized huts used during India’s struggle for independence. There is a Golu Devta temple, which is well-regarded in the Kumaon region. March to October is the best time to visit.
Chaubatia: It is a must-visit place in Ranikhet, known for rich orchards of apples, plums and apricots. These gardens are a pleasant spot for family picnic. It opens daily from 7 am to 7 pm.
