This Park is the 6th largest National Park in Tanzania covering an area of about 2,600 square kilometers. The Tarangire National Park is most popular for its large elephant herds and the Tarangire river is also the leading source of water for wildlife, which attracts animals during the dry season and sees almost 250,000 animals enter the park. Wildebeest, zebras and other antelopes are in abundance. We will enjoy a picnic at the park, with magnificent views looking down upon the hills and enjoying herds of elephants drinking water from the Tarangire river.
After breakfast and by 8:00AM will leave the hotel in ArushaTown with packed lunch boxes and drive to Tarangire National park about {2hrs.}.
