Sri Malleswara Swami Temple is an ancient Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is located in the village of Peda Kakani in the Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh. The temple is believed to have been built during the 12th century by the Chola dynasty. The temple complex is spread over a vast area and consists of several shrines dedicated to different deities.

According to legend, the temple was originally built by Lord Indra, the king of the gods, to worship Lord Shiva. Later, it was renovated by the Chola kings during their reign. The temple has undergone renovations and expansions over the centuries, the most recent one being carried out in 2015.
