This place also serves as the temporary residence to the migratory birds that arrive here between the months of October-March. In simpler words, it is a bird sanctuary and a perfect spot for bird watching.

2) October-March is the period when the migratory birds from Australia and Siberia arrive here. Tourists can spot the birds like a pelican, heron, painted stork etc.
