The authorities make the proper arrangements for the pilgrims like food, accommodation, first-aid etc. The CRPF is always active for maintaining law & order and providing protection to the pilgrims. However, it can also be visited for the purpose of trekking.
Watch Out!
Visitors are recommended to carry the warm clothes when visiting Baltal Valley. For a major portion of the year, this valley remains cold and thus, it would be safe carrying the warm clothes. Trekking should be avoided during a rainy weather in order to avoid the mishaps.
