Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha, a Gardenia African Safaris representative will warmly greet you. You’ll be transferred to your lodge or designated campsite in Arusha. After check-in, relax and refresh from your journey. In the late afternoon or early evening, meet your professional safari guide for a detailed briefing on your upcoming adventure. They will review the itinerary, discuss wildlife expectations, and answer questions. This day is all about settling in, adjusting to the local environment, and preparing for the days ahead. Depending on your arrival time, you may explore Arusha town or visit a local market or cultural site as an optional activity. Dinner will be served at your accommodation. Day 2 : Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart Arusha for Tarangire National Park—approximately a two-hour scenic drive through Maasai villages and savannah landscapes. Upon arrival at the park gate, begin your first game drive. Tarangire is famous for its massive elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and golden savannahs. As you drive deeper into the park, keep your eyes open for lions resting under trees, giraffes gracefully moving through the bush, and large troops of baboons.
