Pickup from hotel at 08:00 with driver and tour guide for a half day city exploration followed by a visit to Cu Chi Tunnels. Morning highlights include Independence Palace a short walk to Notre Dame Cathedral and the historic Central Post Office and a visit to the War Museum. Lunch at a local restaurant precedes the visit to Cu Chi Tunnels where you explore the complex tunnel system and custom built living areas. Return transfer to hotel and overnight in Ho Chi Minh City. Early start at 07:15 for a 1.5 hour drive to My Tho Ben Tre to explore the Mekong Delta by motorboat visiting Dragon Unicorn Turtle and Phoenix islands and enjoying river scenery. Visit a traditional workshop to see coconut candy production and a honey farm with opportunities to try local tasks. Enjoy seasonal fruit and honey tea with a performance of Southern Vietnamese folk music. Experience a rowboat ride along canals visit Vinh Trang pagoda have lunch featuring Mekong Delta local dishes rest and then motorboat transfer back to the harbour and a 1.5 hour drive back to Ho Chi Minh City with transfer to your hotel. After breakfast transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport for an early morning flight to Hanoi. On arrival at Noi Bai Airport meet the driver for transfer to the hotel for relaxation and overnight in Hanoi. After breakfast at 08:00 depart for a full day Hanoi city tour visiting historic and cultural highlights. Morning visits include Tran Quoc Pagoda at West Lake the Ho Chi Minh complex including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum houses One Pillar Pagoda and the Vietnam Ethnology Museum. Lunch at a local restaurant followed by afternoon visits to the Temple of Literature the first university of Vietnam and Hoa Lo Prison Museum. Return to the hotel to relax and overnight in Hanoi. Driver picks you up from the hotel and transfers to Halong Bay a UNESCO World Heritage site. On arrival join the cruise by tender with a welcome drink complete check in and enjoy lunch on board. Participate in cruise activities according to the chosen cruise itinerary such as exploring caves and grottos kayaking and a Vietnamese cooking demonstration.
