Driving down through the rift valley lakes, lunch stop will be at Ziway town after exploring aquatic birds on the lake shore. After lunch at Ziway continue to explore the two lakes Abyata and Shala rich in migratory and resident birds more than 300 species, at late afternoon will pass by Shashemeni town, the Ras tefrian village and arrive in Awassa.
After breakfast visit the spectacular “fish Market” where the fisher men sell fish for the residents and many come to eat fresh raw fish meat. Then we drive to Yirgalem for visiting coffee farms and fruit tress of Avocado, Mango, Papaya and many more by the road side and wondering the unpolluted natural vegetation.

Right after breakfast excursion to Senkele Wild life Sanctuary. This 58sqkm. wild life reserve is home for the endemic Swayne’s hartebeest and some mammal species including greater kudu, oribi, water buck, warthog and common jackal with over 100 bird species.

Visit to Lake Abaya Shala, the deepest lake in Ethiopia. The lake shelters thousands of Flamingos Drive back to Addis via Tiya and Melka-Kunture proto historic sites, listed as world heritage by UNISCO.

Gish-Abay Ethiopia Tours only makes commitments to the Client regarding the services actually sold. When several Clients are registered on the same travel party and one of them cancels his/her trip, the cancellation fees are withdrawn on the sums cashed by Gish-Abay Ethiopia Tours for the entire party regardless of which traveler actually paid. The tour may still take place provided the participants have settled whatever additional service charges might be due prior to departure as a result of modifications required due to the cancellation of one or more travelers.
