Booking Confirmation
A minimum 50% advance payment is required to confirm your booking (unless specified otherwise). The remaining 100% must be paid [15 days] before departure.
No booking is considered confirmed without payment and acknowledgment of these terms.
Cancellation & Refunds
Domestic Travel:
20+ days before departure: 70% refund
10–15 days: 50% refund
Less than 10 days: No refund
No refund for no-shows or unused services
Booking amount is non-refundable
International Travel:
30+ days before departure: 60% refund (subject to airline & visa cancellation fees)
15–29 days: 30% refund
Less than 15 days: No refund
Visa rejections, flight delays, or immigration denials will not be eligible for a refund.
Non-refundable components like visa fees, airfare, and permits will be clearly stated.
Amendments
All changes (dates, names, inclusions) must be requested in writing.
Amendments are subject to availability and may incur additional costs.
For international trips, changes to air tickets, hotels, or visas may not be possible after confirmation.
Pricing & Inclusions
Prices are dynamic and may change due to fuel prices, currency fluctuations, airline taxes, or seasonal surcharges.
Any change in cost will be communicated in advance.
Final pricing will include what’s mentioned in the itinerary—extras are chargeable.
Travel Insurance
Not included by default. Highly recommended for all travelers.
For international travel, medical insurance covering COVID-19, accidents, hospitalisation, and repatriation is often mandatory.
It is the traveler’s responsibility to obtain insurance. Bharat Trails is not liable for uninsured losses.
Visas & Documentation (For International Travel)
Travellers are responsible for ensuring they have valid passports, visas, and any required permits. Bharat Trails can assist in the process but is not responsible for visa denials or delays.
No refunds will be issued due to visa rejection or incomplete documents.
Force Majeure
Natural disasters, weather, strikes, pandemics, or political unrest may cause delays or cancellations. In such events, no refunds will be issued, but we will try to reschedule or offer credits where possible.
Health & Fitness
Travellers must inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or fitness issues at the time of booking. Seniors and persons with special needs must obtain medical clearance.
Bharat Trails is not liable for medical emergencies that arise during the trip due to undisclosed conditions.
Children, Minors & Seniors
Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
For international trips, additional documentation may be required.
Seniors should consult their doctor before travel. Any special arrangements must be requested in advance.
Luggage & Belongings
Each airline has its own baggage policy—please check before travel.
Travellers are responsible for their belongings. Bharat Trails is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged property.
Conduct & Behaviour
Respect the group, the culture, the guide, and the itinerary.
Any disruptive, abusive, or intoxicated behavior may result in removal from the trip without refund. Illegal activities or disrespect of local laws/customs will not be tolerated.
Payment Methods
Accepted: UPI, bank transfer, credit/debit cards, etc.
Transaction charges may apply for card payments or international transfers.
No booking is confirmed without full payment.
Jurisdiction
All legal matters will fall under the jurisdiction of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
