Mountain relief's, canyons and deep valleys, rough rivers and waterfalls which contribute to make up a unique landscape of great beauty and of a diversity of ecosystems that go down from rainy and cloudy woods of the Yungas as far as the dry woods of the mesothermic valleys. The protected area of Amboro that divides its area of 637,600 hectares between the Natural zone of Integrated Management, where 97 communities are settled and it works as a cushion zone of the park. And the Amboro Park itself that spreads over 442,500 hectares, where there are no human settlings and the extraction of natural resources is banned.
