Sankumukham Beach

This is a city beach with a long stretch of clean sand near to the airport featuring an indoor recreation club, a roller skating rink, a children’s traffic training park, a starfish-shaped restaurant and an aquarium. The water here is suitable for bathing. The Kal Mandapam (stage built with rock) is one of the attractions of the beach. The Shanghumugham Beach is popular with local people.
