
About Mizoram
Mizoram is located in India’s north eastern part and is one of the country’s youngest states. Mizoram is predominantly a state which is Christian populated and is situated towards the southern most tip of the states of North east. It also shares borders with Assam, Manipur and Tripura. People living in Mizoram are known as Mizos, who are believed to come from China’s North West and have pushed themselves to their current homeland. This state is popular for fiberless ginger which is abundantly grown in this area. Other prominent crops comprise of paddy, mustard, maize, sesame, potatoes and sugarcane.

It is situated in the India’s north eastern region, surrounding Bangladesh in the west and Myanmar in the east. Capital: Aizawl Languages: English, Mizo, Hindi.
