Alappuzha Lighthouse

Constructed in the year 1862, Alappuzha Lighthouse is a well-known tourist attraction in Kerala. Standing at a height of 108 feet, this lighthouse was erected with the motive of guiding the sailors during the night. Also, the place where this lighthouse stands today used to be a busy port where ships from different countries like Portugal and England arrived and were anchored. At present, this lighthouse stands as a famous landmark and a major tourist attraction.
