The town of Thumpolly has an amazing history. The name of the town comes from the word 'Thoma Pally' which means Church of St. Thomas. The enormous size and eye-catching architecture of the St Thomas church is a sight to see. The grand Thumpolly Church feast celebrated from 8th of December every year. The main feast which is an 11 days long affair is that of the Immaculate Conception.
