Depart after breakfast for a full-day safari in Tarangire National Park, famous for its giant baobab trees and large herds of elephants. Game drive through savannahs dotted with giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and possibly leopards or lions lounging in the shade. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park. After the game drive, continue to Mto wa Mbu, a culturally vibrant town at the foot of the Great Rift Valley. Set up camp at Twiga Public Campsite, where your safari cook prepares a hearty local dinner. Optional village walk or local banana beer tasting can be arranged.

After breakfast, ascend through the lush Ngorongoro Highlands, passing through Maasai villages and dramatic landscapes. En route, stop at scenic viewpoints overlooking the Ngorongoro Crater. Continue to Serengeti National Park, Tanzania’s most iconic wildlife haven. Have a picnic lunch at Nabi Gate and begin your first game drive in the park. Look out for lions, elephants, gazelles, and the beginning of the wildebeest migration depending on the season. Overnight at Tumbling Public Campsite in Central Serengeti. Fall asleep to the sounds of roaring lions and laughing hyenas under a starlit sky.

After an early breakfast, descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the world’s largest inactive caldera. Later, ascend the crater wall and begin your drive back to Arusha or directly to Kilimanjaro Airport depending on your flight. Take in the last scenic views as your adventure winds down.
