Punakha Dzong – Majestic fortress built in 1637 at the confluence of Pho Chhu & Mo Chhu rivers.
Suspension Bridge – One of the longest in Bhutan with views of the valley and rivers.

Distance (round trip): 70 km | Duration: 2–2.5 hrs each way
Chelela Highlights:
Enjoy stunning views of Mt. Jomolhari (7,314m) and the Haa Valley.
The pass is adorned with thousands of fluttering prayer flags.
Explore peaceful walking trails or meditate with mountain silence.
Optional: Descend a short trail to Kila Gompa Nunnery (if open and conditions allow).
Afternoon Return to Paro:
Leisure time for spa, café visits, or local shopping.

Hike Details:
After early breakfast, hike to Bhutan’s most sacred site, perched 900m above the valley floor.
Believed to be the meditation site of Guru Rinpoche who arrived here on a flying tigress.
Stop midway at cafeteria viewpoint for refreshments and views.
Afternoon Visit:
Kyichu Lhakhang – One of Bhutan’s oldest temples, built in the 7th century. Evening Farewell Dinner with cultural elements (optional) and thank-you ceremony. Overnight Stay: Paro
