Manipur is located in the southern slopes of Sub Himalayan Ranges located in the India’s north east at the longitude 93.03º E to 94.78º E and latitude 23.80º N to 25.68º N. This place has seven lovely ranges of hills bordering a valley of some 700 sq miles known as the Imphal valley. In historical times, Manipur has housed over thirty ethnic groups. Te game Polo has also originated in Manipur.
