Anjaneri Hill

Anjaneri Hill is a famous tourist attraction in the city of Nashik, Maharashtra. This hill is a sacred site for the followers of Hinduism as it is said that Lord Hanuman, the ardent devotee of Lord Rama, was born in a cave located atop the hill. Anjaneri means ‘Born from Anjani’ and it is another synonym for Lord Hanuman. This entire mountain belongs to the tantalizing Western Ghats and is visited by tourists on a huge scale.
