Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Chandigarh to Dharamshala

Arrive at Chandigarh railway station, you will be received by the representative of Nik Holidays and would be further assisted & transferred to Dharamshala. Arrival at Dharamshala, Check in to the hotel. Also spelled as Dharamsala, it is a beautiful and serene hill town that shot to fame after His Holiness Dalai Lama took shelter here. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 2 : Dharamshala

After breakfast visit in Dharamshala including Dal Lake-placed amidst lush greenery the lake also has a Shiva temple on its banks, St. John's Church- an Anglican church built in 1852, it is dedicated to John The Baptist, Tibetan Monastery- for witnessing the worshipping rituals of the region and Bhagsu Nag Temple- an ancient Hindu temple dedicated to Snake God, Nag and Lord Shiva. The rest of the day is at your own discretion. Partake in activities like shopping, trying out local delicacies and so on. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 3 : Dharamshala - Dalhousie [130 KMS/ 04 ½ HRS]

After breakfast you will be proceed to Dalhousie. Arrive at Dalhousie, transfer to the hotel. Dalhousie has been named after the British Governor - General of the l9th century, Lord Dalhousie. Surrounded by varied vegetation - pines, dodders, oaks and flowering rhododendron. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 : Dalhousie - Khajjiar[45 KMS/ 02 HRS]

After breakfast, proceed for Khajjiar which is a vast emerald green meadow with thick forested slopes of deodars. This place is also known as Gulmarg of Himachel Pradesh & mini Switzerland of India. It is 25 Kms from Dalhousie by road and 13 Kms from Kalatop. There is a small lake in the center with a floating island and 9-hole golf course here. Enjoy zorbing & paragliding. Khajjiar is a forest glade of great beauty, 6400 feet above sea level". You may enjoy paragliding here during peak tourist season. After lunch visit to Panjipula, Subhash Baoli. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 5 : Dalhousie - Chandigarh[320 KMS/ 06 ½ HRS]

In the morning transfer to Chandigarh, which is one of the most planned cities of India. Arrive at Chandigarh and check in at the hotel. Rest of the time is kept free for optional activities. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 6 : Chandigarh - Departure

Today take a tour of Chandigarh visiting Rock Garden, Sukhna Lake, Leisure Valley and Government Museum & Art Gallery. At appropriate time, you will be transferred to Chandigarh railway station to embark the train back to the onward destination. The tour will culminate here.
