SIndhrot Check Dam is an old check dam located in Gandhinagar in Gujarat. Built long back, this check dam stands on Mahi Sagar River and its construction brought a great relief to the locals as the problem of the shortage of water was solved. Mahi Sagar River is the water body on which this dam stands. It is a navigable water body but swimming is restricted here. Therefore, boating is the only venture that can be enjoyed by the tourists. Swimming is completely prohibited here.
